瑞典，當今世界上僅次於美國和英國，位居第3的音樂輸出國。從上世紀七十年代風靡全球的“阿巴”(abba)旋風開始，瑞典的流行音樂產業得到了蓬勃的發展，現如今，瑞典首都斯德哥爾摩已經成為了歐洲乃至世界流行音樂的重鎮。瑞典流行音樂已經不僅僅屬於瑞典這個國家，它已經是全球流行音樂文化的重要組成部分，並且仍在以壹種全身而動的活力不斷地參與締造流行音樂的世界奇跡。
瑞典“超男”Darin zanyar於1987年出生於斯德歌爾摩。2004年參加了瑞典“流行偶像大賽”並，因他出色的外型，很快受到壹批青春美少女的追捧，盡管演唱了《B What U Wanna B 》，可惜並沒有拿到冠軍。但是Darin Zanyar的歌開始走紅。除了《B What U Wanna B 》，《Sail The Ocean》（孫燕姿《心願》的原版）也是非常受歡迎的。
